Low Carb Baked Basalmic Brussel Sprouts
If you are trying to adopt or maintain a healthy, low carb lifestyle brussel sprouts are a great option. Just one cup contains 4 grams of protein and enough vitamin C and vitamin K to meet daily requirements. Try this recipe for a quick, delicious side.
Prep time: 10-15 minutes
Bake time: 25 minutes
Total time: 30 - 35 minutes
2lbs of Brussel Sprouts
1/4 Cup of Olive oil
1 tbs or more of Miley Brands Meat and Veggie Rub
Step 1: Set your oven to preheat to 400 degrees.
Step 2: Prep the brussel sprouts - peel off yellow or falling leaves. Cut off ends and cut in half. Do this to all brussel sprouts.
Step 3: Pour 1/4 cup of olive oil in a large bowl. Sprinkle at least 1 tbs of Miley Brands Meat and Veggie Rub into the bowl.
Step 4: Put brussel sprouts into the same bowl and toss them with your hands and mix them up until all brussel sprouts are evenly coated. You should also see seasoning on each brussel sprout (see picture). If you run out of mixture you can always make/add more.
Step 5: Spread coated brussel sprouts evenly onto a baking pan. Sprinkle additional Miley Brands Meat and Veggie Rub if needed (depending on how seasoned you would like them).
Step 6: When oven is preheated to 400 degrees put them in the oven and set a timer for 25 minutes. You may check on them and toss them while they are baking, but it is not necessary.
Step 7: After 25 minutes take them out of the oven and drizzle basalmic vinegar over the brussel sprouts while still warm. You can always add/drizzle more as needed to taste.
